Two Spanish “tall ships” will be docked at Port Canaveral in May as part of the 500th anniversary of Ponce de Leon’s landing in Florida.The National Air, Sea and Space Foundation will host the Viva Florida 500 Tall Ship Event at the port from May 1 to May 12.

U.S.A. Beach Running Championships (October)
U.S.A. Beach Running Championships will take place on Saturday, October 27 at the Cocoa Beach Pier in downtown Cocoa Beach, Florida. Hundreds of runners are expected to return to the Space Coast in order to compete in a half-marathon and 10k run.
Space Coast Arts Festival (November)
One of the top arts festivals in all of the southeast, the Space Coast Arts Festival draws the best artists and artisans in the country as well as thousands of arts lovers. In addition to wonderful arts and crafts, the festival features music and events as well as the Turkey Trot 5K.
Cracker Christmas (December)
The first weekend of every December, historic Fort Christmas offers free entrance, free parking and a full-on Cracker Christmas festival featuring 150 crafters, pioneer demonstrations of everything from broom making and basket weaving to lace making and wood carving, visits from Santa, a Christmas Post Office, all kinds of delectable eats, tractor and antique engine displays and a whole lot more.
